Forced Isolation: 1, 2, skip a few…Day 72

The last few days have been relatively “plain” by quarantine standards. Although a welcome (nearly distant) visit from Monya & BopOp yesterday was a relief.

But, today, in science class, TheWeeOne and I built an engine with a magnet, a battery, and a long loop of wire!

Look at that blurry thing spin between the copper coils – this was with the flash on.

Forced Isolation: Day 63

It’s all a process.

In order to complete our back-hall pantry I need to finish replacing the floor. But, to finish the floor I need to remove the baseboard trim, finish wet-sanding the ceiling, wet-sand the old patches in the walls, fix the bad patch in the skylight, patch old crusty spots outside the bathroom (pictured) probably shellac some sections of the ceiling and skylight, decide what to do with the lame-ass heater vent by the back door, paint the ceiling, replace the outlets, tape-off the trim, and paint the walls. (Optional, replace the bathroom door and install cornice trim).

Now that I’ve written it all down; it’s feels like it is almost done…not. #timeToExecute
