Had to see it for myself. The WeeOne went with me and we listened to some people speak, read some signs, observed a nascent community, and relaxed in a bit of space without any trepidation.
The only bad thing about it all; I am fairly confident it will result in another spike in COVID-19 cases. Most people were respectful, it was sunny and breezy but…there were just too many people too close to each other.
We are getting pretty deep into this; have only driven the car once in the past two weeks.
We are taking every precaution.
Water went out for 24 hours and caused an interruption for our plumbing appointment.
Would that make it an interrupted interruption? Don’t hold your breath – we should be back “in business” by late Thursday.
A new water-philic ditch. Happy to to report they didn’t hit the gas line.
DIY “closet-boxes”, in very cold barn, until midnight.
They are sorting coins by date…at 1AM.

…TheMommy and I burst out laughing and gave her high fives. Once we calmed down she elaborated

Observed: Mermaids planting Hens and Chicks.
Some rooms in the new place are getting a facelift. We’ve begun with the mermaids’ rooms.
More of a top-lift really as the bulk of the labor is going into the ceiling treatment.

And yes, that is a teenage mermaid with an air-nailer on the ladder putting the final touches on her ceiling.
