I’m very proud of TheMermaids and their big-screen debut.
Great job girls!!
The other films represent some excellence in filmmaking, and I’m proud that we were able to see through to completing the effort.

So, I’m sick; unusually so.
It’s a good thing it is unusual too because TheMommy is having a jewelry party with a lot of friends.
If this were the usual sick, I’d be out there entertaining about 10 women, acting like I understood what makes amethyst better than pewter in the fall on a purple chiffon blouse at a dinner party.
For the record, I had to look up 'chiffon' to make sure it was really a word about clothing and fashion. Now that I think about it...'Purple' is probably too pedestrian...perhaps 'Lilac' is better.
Meh...'nuff-a-that.
Instead I’m in my room integrating by WordPress blog with my Facebook timeline…and this is the official first test.
You can read it first at blief.zwise.net – but Facebook should alert y’all about updates pretty quick thereafter.
UPDATE 14:17: Integration cancelled. The WordPress Facebook integration required me create a facebook app. I did the whole thing, all of the images, banners, a privacy policy, etc…got to the “submit” this for review and reviewed their privacy policy. It didn’t stink but it was pages and pages long and the ROI, even after all that work, wasn’t worth the wrestle. I’ll just continue to submit a link like normal…unless and until I actually delete my entire Facebook account – still not seeing the reward provided for the invasion of my time and privacy.
Cheers.

Changing this morning in the shower at the office and what should come flying out of the skivvies?!
Guys, those aren’t mine.

I decided this morning, very soon after getting out of my toasty bed, that I wasn’t going to ride in to work today and instead ride the train.
I reasoned (hint: there isn’t such a thing as “reason” for me at that hour of my day) that the wind and rain would be all over the place and I could take a “heavy-item-transport” day.
Once outside I nearly instantly regretted my decision.
I don’t often regret.
The wind was rather warm and the rain was in the form of star-shine.
When I arrived at the depot I snapped this shot of Venus, rising in the east, just ahead of the sun.
Makes me feel a little better.

They say tomorrow the rain returns to Seattle.
…so goes the rainbow.

If you close your eyes, it feels like you’re riding on a butterfly.
