First ride in a long time – 27+ miles.

New Di-2 shifting works well in spite of the…ahem…rookie mechanic.
Oh the misery when the whole family is in the garage for so loooong!

30 minutes later…”I can haz second dinner?”
Went for a warm-up walk with La Grande.

Day was beautiful, my company more-so.
I extracted a jammed boom, on my most recently acquired bike, revealing yet another problem…

…I have more bikes than pedals.

Yesterday, a day off from work. Plants, pictures, and bike maintenance. The mermaids justified a trip to the local nursery with something like “We have more plants than pots!”

Problem solved.
My company hosted a Bring Your Kids To Work Day – virtually. Several events including drawing, coding, virtual meeting security, and interviewing.

Oh – and then capped off with Bollywood Dancing with 60 kids via zoom. #semi-controlledChaos
Music, puppies, drawing, and yoga mats – it’s a family affair in the “gym”

So far I haven’t hurt myself. I think I am growing.
Figured out how to capture my bike metrics

My legs shall hurt again soon.
Was also day 1 of an exercise routine that La Grande cooked up for us.

Feels good to get moving.
