The weather is cold and several inches of snow is expected tonight.
Five miles to the southwest my great great grandfather R.R. Banker fought, as a member of The Union army joining General Sherman’s march to the sea, in The Battle at Brentwood.
I am here, in a small capacity, to enhance 9-1-1 architecture in ways that the people in those days couldn’t fathom. Those soldiers then helped maintain the union which now mandates it’s use (9-1-1) for the public good.
Update: in the time it took me to write this it really started to dump snow. Woo hoo!
