tapeworm on sunday

No, I don’t have a parasitic explanation for the sudden weight loss, Tapeworm is the name of a bike trail near my place. Some friends and I went Sunday AM and I actually remembered to bring my little camera.

I don’t have time to format them like I usually prefer but here they are, placed as links, in chronological order.

GroupBefore
Steve in Action
Paul in Action
Steve’s Wife in Action (Sorry, my first impression of your name was replaced with a different first impression.)
Karen in Action
Steve’s Wife in Action again
Dwayn in Action
Paul REALLY in Action
Group After (anyone looking a little pekid here…em…er…Jordan)

I think next time we all need to be on our bikes for the GroupAfter shot…the women look way cool on their bikes here. Nice ride.

  1. Where’s the blood? You all were not riding nearly hard enough if you came out the other end with not blood. I will come with you next time so you have a group photo that includes a bloody leg or elbow. Let me know the next time you go.

  2. Tom,
This is Julie. I’m the one that Leif couldn’t remember the name of. That’s because the first time he met me and my sister we were bleeding. I had fallen on a stick right at the beginning of the ride. It happened to be right at the top of my leg by my butt. So when Dwayn, with the rest of the guys, showed up I said, “Look at my butt”, and then proceeded to show them. Now, keep in mind I have known Dwayn since 6th grade. Shaun and Leif on the other hand I do not know well. My sister was bleeding down her leg by the end of the trail.
We went to my car, did first aid, then did the trail again.
I look forward to meeting you. I was going to post a picture of my butt wound but couldn’t figure out how to do it here.:)

  3. Julie,
Even if you could have figured out a way, I may not have let you. I would have at least vetted the image for appropriateness…you know, is the wound going to make people grimace in pain, will anyone be offended by your bike shorts, that kind of thing.
Thanks for the heads up on your name too. 🙂

  4. Now Lief,
I have a very tasteful picture of my butt. It is a work of art:) It was later in the healing process too so not too bad.

Anyway, the pictures you took are great. The one of Paul is my favorite and the group after shot. Paul, Jordan, and you are great people and I liked riding with you. Makes it a lot of fun.

  5. Julie, I am glad to hear that I am not the only one that has spilled his/her blood on those trails. The next time you all go I will be sure to make it.
