  1. I used to think you were sort of exaggerating how many things you actually broke. You are making a believer out of me. Maybe you just don’t know your own strength!! Steady on now!!

  2. To Margy:
How could you NOT believe in “Blief”?! Have you not observed his prowess at “taking things apart”? At creating chaos where once was peace?!

Your problem is that you have never gone on a 110 mile Pass-to-Pass hike with him bringing up the rear! Then you would gain a new understanding!! Forget the peace and quiet of a walk in the woods — Blief it or not, he has even broken that.

  3. I believe In him, I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt. He is much harder on himself anyway, so anything we have to say about his breaking stuff is really redundant .

I don’t see it as a problem NOT going on a 110-mile hike. I prefer Lief in urban, or suburban, domestic settings with plenty of food, laughter and, best of all, music. Maybe you should revisit how you spend your time with Lief. I enjoy my time with him. : )

  4. Hey! Who said I don’t enjoy spending time with him!? After all, he IS my First Wife’s Grandson — dare I not enjoy spending time with him??! [I get in enough trouble as it is!!]

But you just don’t realize what you are missing until you hike 110 miles with him. Especially when he is in fine fettle — as he always is!!

To be absolutely correct, Margy should know that they are called “mosquitoes“; that’s a Spanish word for “little flies”.

And “bad food”? Hey, we had gourmet trout dinner the last time, the trout freshly flown in by James’ FlyRod and prepared by Chef Bopop using a secret, family recipe!
