  1. I wish I could say “I feel for you, Lief!”, — but, really NO!!! I’m glad that I can’t feel for you.

However, I do wish and pray that your discomfort (pretty mild word, isn’t it!?) is soon gone and you can resume your usual gutsy life.

  2. A woman at work whose son is prone to the same thing says he thinks lemonade helps. At least your sense of humor is still healthy.

  3. Monya and I both had trouble figuring out the “fat lady not singing” image. She thought it was a tiger. I thought it was a large breasted woman bending over toward the camera, wearing leather chaps, with her legs spread. Then I found the musical notes crossed out and had to find a “fat lady” in there somewhere. Monya pointed out that the mouse-hover shows the text cues, but who uses a mouse?

In spite of my problem it is an excellent way to express, in very few words, the struggle you are going through. I hope you recover soon.

  4. I had to explain the “Tree” picture to Jamey, but once he was on board, he loved it.

Sorry to hear it. Nice artwork though.

For the record, I had no trouble discerning the opera singer. Bop-Op’s got an overdeveloped sense of wishful thinking. It’s going to get him into trouble some day.

Epic 4 hour episode last night. I wish this on nobody.

Now that you say it I can see the whole lady in chaps thing. Wishful thinking must be genetic.

Yes, James, and that (thinking, that is) is genetic. I believe that’s why Grumpy gets in trouble all the time — because his Sons and Grandsons think too much in front of your Grandmother.

  7. Margy, they weren’t just white shorts. They were alternating white and purple; like, in the rear the left side was white and the right side was purple, and in the front the left side was purple and the right side was white. But it wasn’t just the shorts, it was the way they were moving. (It’s surprising the amount of detail captured for such things, rather than watching the road.)

As my wise father once told me, “…she should have filed an environmental impact statement.”
