But was the container left out in the sun first?
If so I’d dock a few points. It is my experience that rubbermaid containers behave like vampires in sunlight.

It was left outside in the weather, yes. Not sure if you can call this weather sun though.
In fairness it has been out long enough to vaporize all but the sparkly vampires of Forks, WA.
