This weekend was pretty much dominated by a combined 7 hours of inner-tubing along the Cedar River.
I managed to capture a stretch on video from the second run, on Sunday.
This is LaGrande and BopOp running a particularly fun, and safe, section of rapids.
WeeOne and I had just finished our second run of the same stretch.

Wow, and the water color was stunning. Plus note La Grande WAS wearing a life jacket, a must in the river, even if it looks shallow. Always better safe.

We were both wearing life jackets. Mine isn’t visible because she was laying on top of it which by the way kept her high and dry out of that cold water.

What stretch of the Cedar River were you on? It looked way faster than that lazy stretch by your folks’ place.
Looks also like a very fun time for two little girls.

There are a couple of areas in that video that I predict large trout to be lurking 🙂 I must fish there……..which part of the river is this?
